Former WWE Champion and Scottish origin wrestler Drew McIntyre last seen in WrestleMania 39 will likely return to the square circle soon. The former champion is out of action due to an injury. However the WWE creative team is working on a storyline to get him back on live TV. Drew McIntyre, a dominant WWE superstar, commands attention with his imposing presence and exceptional in-ring skills. Hailing from Scotland, he has clinched numerous championships, including the prestigious WWE Championship, showcasing his intense charisma and powerful maneuvers. With transitions, he solidifies his status as a formidable force in professional wrestling.
Drew McIntyre Unhappy with Creative and delayed return to WWE
McIntyre’s last WWE outing at WrestleMania 39 ended in a loss against Gunther and Sheamus. The superstars were involved in a triple Threat Match for the Inter Continental Championship. There are reports that Drew ain’t happy with the creatives that is being offered to him and he took a break following his injury. However, the creative team is still working on a creative for his comeback but things ain’t working out between the tow parties.
McIntyre is one of the hot prospects in European market for the WWE. The company is working rigorously to get him an appearance in Money In The Bank premium event. This year the event is happening in London and having McIntyre in the show is definitely a box office attraction. Scottish superstars contract is due to end in early 2024 and if nothing gets finalized we might have seen the last of the European star.
Booker T Believes Drew can be a star anywhere else
Five time WCW champion and Hall of Famer Booker T believes McIntyre can be a huge star in any other promotion he goes to. He says “Any company in the world. Any company in the world, he’d be a star.” The Legend also highlights the point that Drew has been with WWE twice. Evidently, he knows the company and the working of the system. Going forward, the things are not final yet and the future of the Scottish superstar hangs in balance. However, if the company is desperate to keep the European wrestler on the roster then they must come up with a fruitful story line up.

We must not forget McIntyre took the brand on its shoulders during the pandemic. When no fans were in attendance McIntyre single handedly carried the TRP’s until Roman Reigns turned heel. However, It’ll be interesting to see if fans are lucky enough to watch him perform live. Moreover, It’ll be sad to search him in the archives section in near future.
