Max Verstappen continues his dominance in the 2023 season of FORMULA1. Redbull No1 driver did not face any competition from any of his counterparts resulting in yet another win. However, overall, Spanish Grand Prix marks 5th victory this season for Max Verstappen.
A win in Spain not only gives Max a 53 points lead to No2 this season Sergio Perez, it also solidifies his chances for drivers championship. On the other hand it is an outing to remember for Mercedes. Both Hamilton and Russel were able to secure podiums. Lewis secured 2nd while Russel finished 3rd.
A Hat-trick of wins for Max Verstappen at Spanish Grand Prix
Max Verstappens win at Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona marks his third consecutive win this season. However, Hamilton won his 2 podium this season.
Interestingly, Perez has a lot to take away from this race. Starting 11th on the grid after a forgettable Q3, The Mexican driver finished 4th in the race. However Redbull No 2 is still placed 2nd in the drivers Championship for the 2023 season.
The Dark Horses of the season Aston Martin had an average outing in Spain, As Fernando Alonso finished 7th behind teammate Stroll and Carlos Sainz who finished P5 in the race.
Nightmare for Charles Leclerc continues in Barcelona
Things don’t seem to be changing for Ferrari and Leclerc. It looks the it’s a never ending date with the devil for Charles. After facing elimination in Q3, Leclerc started from the pit lane and finished P11.
Yuki Sunoda of AlphaTauri took the bait with a 5second penalty. Oscar Piastri from MCLAREN and Nyck de Vries ended up on 13th and 14th. Besides this Lando Noris finished 17th as he pitted early after an incident with Hamilton.

Rookie debutant Logan Sargeant of Williams is facing difficulties on track and ended at the bottom of the table. Whereas, Kevin Magnussen of Haas and Bottas from Alfa Romeo finished 18th and19th respectively.
