The Board for Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has published the complete schedule of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The news was published on the official website of the IPL.
There will be 70 league games and four playoffs. Venues for the entire league stage will be in Maharashtra. The opening match will stage in Mumbai at Wankhede Stadium on 26th March. Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings will battle in the season opener. The first game will begin at 7:30 PM IST.
First double header will be played on 27th March. Starting with a day game between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians, the game will begin at 3:30 in the afternoon at Brabourne Stadium. The DY Patil stadium will witness the battle between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
MCA Stadium in Pune will host their first game on 29th March when Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Rajasthan Royals.

The Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadium will be hosts for 20 games each. Brabourne Stadium and MCA Stadium, Pune will witness a total of 15 games each.
A total of 12 double headers will take place in the entire season, Afternoon games will start at 3:30 PM followed by evening games at 7:30PM. Finalization of the venues for playoffs is still under consideration, which will be done after monitoring the situation of the pandemic in the country. The Final will take place on 29th May,2022.
