In a thrilling return to Japan after five years, WWE Superstars have once again left fans in awe during their WWE Supershow Summer Tour. The tour kicked off with a bang at the Edion Arena in Osaka on July 25, 2024, and continued with back-to-back shows at the Ryogoku Arena in Tokyo on July 26 and 27.
The WWE Supershow Summer Tour marked the company’s first return to Tokyo in five years, and the first return to Osaka in six years. The tour featured an impressive lineup of WWE Superstars, including “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, IYO SKY, The Kabuki Warriors, and many more.
WWE Superstars Awe the Japan Fans
Fans were treated to a variety of exciting matches and events. On July 25 in Osaka, Cody Rhodes faced off against Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles in an Undisputed WWE Championship Triple Threat Match. The following day in Tokyo, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Meiko Satomura took on Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai in a thrilling Six-Woman Tag Team Match.
The excitement didn’t stop there. On July 26, the tour culminated with an epic Undisputed WWE Championship Fatal 4-Way Match, pitting Cody Rhodes against LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura, and AJ Styles. Damian Priest also defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Rey Mysterio, adding to the electrifying atmosphere.
