Dolph Ziggler has appeared on NXT 2.0, aiming to assert his dominance. He particularly wants the NXT Championship currently held by Bron Breaker. However, Tommaso Ciampa is adamant about defending his position in the championship line-up and refuses to yield to an outsider’s intrusion into what he considers his domain.
Tommaso Ciampa, real name Tommaso Whitney, is a professional wrestler currently signed with WWE. Tommaso is a 2-time NXT World Champion and a former WWE NXT Tag Team Champion. Ciampa is also known for his work outside of WWE in ROH (Ring of Honour). Evidently, Ciampa is also a former ROH World TV champion. Apart from WWE and ROH, Ciampa has represented other wrestling promotions such as BW (Beyond Wrestling), CW (Chaotic Wrestling), TRP( Top Rope Promotions) and PWG (Pro Wrestling Guerrilla respectively.

Ziggler made his intentions clear on NXT 2.0, prompting Ciampa, known as The Blackheart, to intervene and assert his own claim to the championship. Ciampa firmly insists that Ziggler must wait his turn and not attempt to leapfrog ahead in the championship race.
Ciampa’s resentment towards Ziggler’s actions spilt over onto Monday Night Raw, where he interfered in a match involving The Dirty Dawgs, causing them to lose against Raw Tag Team Champions Alpha Academy. This resulted in Ciampa receiving a superkick from Ziggler, further escalating their feud.
The rivalry intensified as Ciampa thwarted Ziggler’s interference attempt during Bron Breaker’s title defense against Santos Escobar at NXT Vengeance Day. With both wrestlers eager for a shot at the NXT Championship, they are set to collide in a significant main event to determine the rightful contender to challenge Breaker.
